Pool Chemicals

- we use a variety of chemicals (not just Chlorine) to keep a pool sanitized, clean and safe for swimmers, and to maintain water balance

All of these chemicals have the potential to harm us delicate humans to one degree or another , so treat them with respect

  • Buy them from a trusted source - a pool-shop; not a supermarket or from a dodgy-looking bloke at an outdoor market
  • Transport them safely (or have them delivered)
  • Label them correctly
  • Store them carefully
  • Use them even more carefully
  • Keep them out of the reach of children and pets
  • Learn how to calculate and apply the correct dosages
  • Wash-out and dispose of containers as soon as they are empty
  • ALWAYS wash your hands when you've finished handling them
