- light up your pool!
- Modern pool-lights use LEDs to give a range of coloured light, and colour-changing effects, at a fraction of the energy costs of traditional pool-
lights; just 12 watts on average
- That’s a saving of 96% on running costs
- Further economies are made on a smaller, cheaper transformer and lighter-gauge cables
- LED units give up to 50,000 hours of operation without significant dimming and some even have remote-control
- LED units can be retro-fitted to pools, using the existing transformers and cables
- See a video of these lights in 'Colour Fade' mode here
and in 'Disco' mode here
(videos compliments of www.Cheejay.com.au )
- Most LEDs can produce up to 9 different coloured light, including white
- White-light-only units are also available but they are not a great deal cheaper
As a personal opinion, my favourite effect is when there are 2 lights fitted in a pool and both of the lights are on the 'Colour Fade' mode (where the LED unit cycles through all the different colours it can produce) but the bulbs are set at different places in the cycle
So you could have one bulb changing from red to blue whilst the other bulb is changing from gold to magenta - The effect of the swirling colours is mesmerising. Like all pool lights, LEDs can be controlled with a timer and/or manually
