- also known as Chlorine Neutralizer - chemical formula Na²S²O³ - is used to rid the pool of high Chlorine levels if you have accidentally overdosed or want to use the pool soon after Superchlorination
- It is supplied as a colourless, granulated, crystalline substance with a pH of 8.0
- It is safe to handle but, like al pool chemicals, the dust should not be inhaled
- Pre-dissolve it in water and add it at a rate of 175g per 50m³ or 4oz per 10000 US Gals to reduce Chlorine by 1ppm
- Do not overdose with Sodium Thiosulphate or you could find yourself with a Chlorine deficit for a period of time, as all the Chlorine added is immediately destroyed by the Neutralizer
