Pumps

- draw water from the pool and pass it through the filtration system and any other equipment such as a Saltwater Chlorinator, Ozone Generator, Heater, etc., before returning it to the pool

With constantly rising electricity costs it makes absolute sense to choose a pump that is just the right size for your pool and filter - there is no advantage, and there are many disadvantages, to fitting an oversized pump

An oversized pump will: -

  • Increase your power bills
  • Drive filtered dirt right through the filter and back into the pool
  • Empty the filter media from a sand-filter during a backwash
  • Overstrain plumbing and pipe-work
